Default I hate (New Jersey) Highways

Just noticed (2) 1/8" nicks in my front bumper due to highway construction. I am so mad right now.

I have had my car for less then five months and I have a ding in my rear passenger fender from someone who did not know how to open a car door, and my front bumper is a mess from rocks.

Anyone else have rock problems? Is there an easy way to fix them? Paint sealer?

How did you deal with it?

Is there an easy touch up solution?

Deal with what? rock chips? or the sofabed?

Rock chips, you can touch it up.. but after hundreds of them.. i just end up getting my bumper primed, sanded and repainted.

the sofabed? well.. my car is still currently in the shop getting that taken care of..

I lived in Washington Heights for the first 20 years of my life. I'm in Jersey now but still get into the City quite frequently. I try to avoid bringing the Z into the City if I can. That's what my wife's Altima is for.

my fiance works in the city so when we go we take the train.. I have driven into the city once and parked at the JAVITS garage, I will never do it again.. The people parking next to me on both sides we about 10" from each side.. I think people just like parking close to my Z

I have to admit, living in the city i don't really drive my Z all that much (mostly on the weekends) because i just take the subway everywhere - it stays parked in the garage where i have a monthly spot, there are times when i'd rather take a cab somewhere instead of parking my Z on the street and letting some pillowbiter in a mini cooper bang my sh*t up (no pun intended)..
