so i have 2 different types of noises coming from my car....
1st....passenger side door, mostly noticeable when the window is down, but still audible when its up...going over slight bumps it makes a chirping noise... something is obviously loose, but not sure what.

2nd....this one is annoying...its coming from underneath the car I THINK, mainly in 2nd gear as well in the 2000-3500 RPM range....and it happens quite frequently, as i accelerate in those rpm ranges and as the intake noise increases a Short WOMMM type sound comes out of no where also seems like its a vibrating noise...i would describe it as the intake noise being cranked up verry loud for a brief second, as i said it sounds like its coming under the car...possibly a shield of some sort that has loosened up?

any thoughts?

 

If it's still under warranty, take it to dealer and have them take a look

 

Could be a ghost in the car

 

2nd one could be tranny noise... if it's an 03 or 04 i'm sure that's what it is. from like 1800-2500 sometimes my tranny is a lil noisy (2nd and 3rd gear usually for me). i have an 03 touring with 26,000miles on it. trannys are just garbage on these vehicles... specially 03 and 04

 

i get a whistling sound from my intake from 3 to 4 grand, sounds like a turbo spoolin up, its kinda cool. my filter is lose from the lil brace that holds it, pretty sure thats whats making it.
