Because he sold me his 06s I don't know the answer but I assure you those lights were in 100% perfect working order when I took them off.

Edit: If there's a wiring difference then I may run into the same problem when I get yours in

Maybe there a difference in the fuse for the turn signals? I don't know what I am talking about...lol..but it should just be plug in play.

It is normal for an '03+ headlight to have to be adjusted for the turn signals to work when fitted to an '06+ Z. There is nothing wrong with the lights. I do not recall the fix off the top of my head, but it has been posted in two different threads and is a simple thing to do. I'll see if I can find it for you and link them here (I think I'm subscribed to those threads so it will be easier for me to find them).

I also understand why some people would prefer the pre-'06's due to their higher tech look. Many people are minimizing the "bug eye" look of the '06+ Zeds with eyelids (I'm among that group), but not everyone wants eyelids because they are either "ricey" or too much trouble to paint, blend and match perfectly.

'03 headlights look great! Especially with 6000k projectors. '06+ looks great too, but they need a little *ahem* adjustment to look as cool as the pre-'06. They are definitely brighter and put more usable light on-target.

I really like the '03's that MrZipps does (he removes the orange reflector and paints the paintable parts of the housing whatever color you want). The small lens looks high tech, and the removal of the orange strip greatly enhances that effect. Having the paint done is just icing on the cake.

How on earth is this better performance? Bi-xenon provide better performance in lighting. Unless...do you mean you made profit off of these to buy performance mods?

He's selling off his stuff to fund his new turbo project. BTW I found this:

This can be fixed by cutting the blue wire (there are already detailed posts on this) in the bundle that plugs into the housing.

Having owned a Z with 03 lights, and now an 06, there is no way in hell I would ever go back. The 03-05 headlights look so dated whenever I see them, not to mention no BI-Xenon. I am still dumbfounded that anyone would ditch the new headlights for the old ones. Ive seen it all now.
