As far as the eyelids, I personally am not a fan. Also authentic Central 20 stuff is expensive!
As far as the paint job, it was done by Siggy's Autobody. Call him at
(310) 516-0410 and ask for his new address. I just had my front bumper redone last month so he remembers me. Tell him Jeff with the Orange Z sent you over. He's pretty familiar working with the Shine fiberglass now and also done several other Z with other kits. The quality of his work is only a B or B+ if I was to grade it especially when he has too many projects going on and is in a rush to complete them. For example, the sideskirts were prepped perfectly but the rear bumper was not done too well. Part of this was because of the heavy prep work required on some of Shine's kits and the resulting effort on Siggy's part to get it perfect for the price I paid him but his prices are pretty great. He will do the entire kit for $500-600. You could probably negotiate with him but that's the general range. That price IMHO is awesome if you don't have hookups. If you are **** and want it done super perfect however, it won't be that way and you are better off going to some place charging you 2K for perfection. I have some minor waves and imperfect parts on the body kit but I've learned to live with it. The main problem though is paint match. The color on my parts is quite off depending on the light its under. Even on my repaint of the front bumper, the color match was not on point even after I gave him an OEM part to match. But for saving $1000-1500, I am happy how it came out. I did the install of the car parts myself but he can do it though I don't know how much more he'd charge. I would strongly suggest however doing it yourself. It's not hard and you know it was installed without shortcuts. If you do take it to him, you must be explicity clear on everything you want done. If you tell him you won't settle for anything less than a perfect match, he'll probably take the time to get the color right. But he is cool doing whatever you ask him (2 tone paint job, filling in hamburgers etc) without BS'ing you and asking for more money or claiming its a custom job etc. Too many guys on these forums are unhelpful and don't really tell you real info so I just want to help any of you guys out getting it painted.
Some things I can tell you already if you get this kit or possibly any Shine product- the rear bumper requires the most prep work to get right. On both the rear and front bumper around where the lights attach, the body shop needs to put extra putty to make sure the paint job does not crack because the Shine products flex so much unlike brittle hard fiberglass which is stiff as a rock usually.
