Default Fixed My Headlight Fog

Finally! There was a thread a while back and someone recommended the 3M plastic cleaner & polish and a buff. Well, bought all three, got a chance to test it out today and man what a difference!

I'm really impressed with this stuff, my right headlight in particular was horribly fogged as you can see in the first pic, it really just brought down the look of the whole car. I've asked so many people about how to fix this and all the suggestions turned out to work (too scared to put sandpaper on my headlights). Only took me a few minutes, definitely recommend this!

Yeah I mean I just had a crappy *** $40 buffer hah, I'm gonna take it to the dealership and have my guy there use their industrial buffer and the 3M polish on it.

I use Mothers plastic polish and an orbital buffer, looks good as well, but after time it starts to get hazy again.

Looks great, I'll definately add that to my shelf of cleaning products, or a Mequiars equivalent.

Now the age old question is, how does one clean the "interior haze" that seems to be impossible to get rid of? Hopefully everyone knows what I'm referring to.

Well yeah, but it's not that hard to spend an extra few minutes on your headlights after you wash your car.

I looked into that and I'm sure it works fine, but the thought of sanding my headlights made me nervous.

Yeah that's a toughy, I mean you can put your headlights in the oven to loosen up the seal, but I'm worried about f**kin up my headlights. Either way, the outside haze was MUCH worse than the inside.

If you get the Mothers power ball and a electric drill it'll work the best.

Does your car sit outside?

Yeah it does, unfortunately I am unable to garage it, my apartment complex is putting in covered parking soon, and I'm first on the list.
