How come in the first pic, the carbon fiber weave looks slanted, but in the pic on the purchase page, it's oriented straight front to back?

Personally, I like the tilted look more.

Or am I just being dumb because it all depends on how you look at it?


I'll seriously consider $250

DavidD- technically that is a short ram intake. A CAI would draw air from the front grill (Injen) or wheelwell (AEM). If your worried about flooding with a CAI- Don't- you would have to completely submerge the filter to run the risk of pulling water into the engine and causing hydrolock. I've run a CAI on my last three cars and never had a problem driving through numerous downpours.
