Question Base model 350, changing out seats

I have a base model Z with no side airbags. Will be putting sparco seats as soon as my bolts that go with them get here, if they ever do. All I see under my seats are wires that go to weight sensors and the seatbelt lock.

Is there anything I need to do in order not to have any problems with my seats and light that could appear? What do I need to do with the weight sensors? Put them on the aftermarket seats? Any help well appreciated.

if you have no airbags you have no sensors, and thus, no light

Yes, I know. But what about the weight sensors that are under there? What do I do with them? There is a harness that comes from under the carpet to a yellow tab that connects to the springs under the sea, then to a small harness, then to another yellow tab, and then to the seatbelt buckle.

All I had on my 03 were seatbelt and airbag harnesses when I dropped in my sparcos...the yellow was the air bag. weight sensor?...not sure what or where that is. make sure you get 2 7/16's nuts from homedepot to re-attach the buckle on each side.

I think the weight sensor for passenger side is only applicable to 06.5 and newer. If you have the weight sensor, you should have the overhead display in front of the dome light. I think you can just bypass the wires so that the car would think that someone's always sitting in the passenger seat.
