Turns out the same clear lense that is swapped into the TL should fit the 06 projectors. There called ZKW lenses and I have no idea what car they are actually off of but there very expensive.

Here are some 3" lense on ebay, its says "identical" to ZKW but its not actually ZKW so I dunno.... He says you can return them if there not 100% clear tho....

 

I believe the zkw lenses have already been tried, and the resulting isn't promising, the focal point is off, a koito clear lense is really what is needed

 

hmmm i saw a few of those on eBay also, here is one didnt feel like going back looking for the rest.

Does not state the size, does the koito only come in 3"?

not sure if all koito lenses are the same, you'll have to be the guinea pig I guess

 

Well i mite be picking up a set of 06's but I am not going to go through with it if I cannot locate a good clear lense that fits.

 

ZKW does work with lens spacing. What you need is JDM STI lenses.

Thanks Ivory I'm going to have to look into some JDM STI lenses it seems.

I am in contact with a "retrofit supplier" he told me the focal length is off on the ZKW (which exlains why lens spacing fixs it) and was going to see what all lenses work with the 350z projector.

 

Just got one of the 06 headlights for 100 bucks!!!!! Got out bid on the other tho.......

 

lol, that sucks. you must of gotton the one with no ballast or bulbs. Good luck finding the other.

 

Ya no ballast or bulbs, but I have two sets of both already 100 buck tho, made my day.... gonna end up getting raped trying to get a matching one so it will even out. hah

Some one sniped me in the last 10 seconds on fleEbay for the other light.........
