Default Veilside V1 Lip w/ Greddy Sides

I am almost 100% sold on the Greddy sides and since I have a 2006 Z there aren't many front lips to choose from, so I am strongly considering the Veilside V1 lip which is available for the 2006. Annnnnnnyway, I have only been able to find one picture (courtesy of SluggoZ) of a Z with this combo. Can anyone else step in with some pictures that fit the bill? I'm also still deciding what to do with the rear...I have the OEM splash guards and a shiny fujitsubo muffler with big tips, so there is already a lot going on back there and I have been considering leaving it as is. Any suggestions? Thanks!

It's not an '06 but it should help you picture what the car would look like. The person that owns this car is on this forum as whip24lash.

JP USA completed a lip kit for the 06-07 models in polyurethane. It is pretty clean and will be available in October. The mold is already in Japan.

Nice thanks for the pics man. Keep them coming if you can find them. I keep searching and still coming up empty.

Slightly off-topic, but damn I am just realizing how much money I'm going to need to spend to slightly alter the car's overall appearance. I hope it's worth it!

Hey guys, want to bump this thread, but at the same time I need GReddy side skirt owners to report! Need honest opinions about the fitment of the GReddy sides. Nothingremains claims that they snap right into place with no need for modification : ) Obviously this is the answer that my body shop and I would like to hear, but I want to make sure it is true more often than not. Please chime in with your experiences with this kit!

Thanks,
-steve

sry110....BTW I have a '04.5 ZR. Although I do have '06 tails!
Also...I started a thread about my v1 lip....the center section dropped to the ground & started draggin'. My advice now is to put a ton of tape in & around the center section, add adhesives & glue even though it has 9mm bolts on each end for securement.

As far as the Greddy side skirts, I'm really ecstatic & so is most of the guys who see them on my roadie.
I installed them with the help of a buddy of mine. Anyone2u wrote a terrific DIY here on the removal of side skirts. Taking them off is very easy for one person but putting them on you would need a helper most of the time because it's a snug fit.
In my situation...the bolts that came with the kit were way too short. As I told Nothingremains & other members here... I went to the Auto Zone store & bought 2 pkgs. of 5/16" Doormand brand rivets (15 pk) code 799-100. It would even be better if they were slightly longer but these worked out great. I bought extra just in case I snapped one off. The white grommets on the body part, I removed & just attached these black rivets.
When installing, it's best to block & jack the car up a bit for better room. The kick plate needs to be lifted a bit when installing the side skirts. To show where the kick plate is open, here's a pic that I saved from another member. You can do this yourself (& buddy) & believe me you don't have to spend the money at the body shop. I did have the paint shop paint the screening black as the same color of the side skirts that might of been a mistake but it does look good either way. Good Luck!

BUMP

Anyone besides SluggoZ who has installed the GReddy sideskirts themselves....were you able to use the fasteners that come with the GReddy kit, or did you have to buy something different like Sluggo mentions? I have not been able to find the Dorman 799-100 fasteners that he mentioned and the parts are going to be ready to install within the next few days....just wondering if I can get away with using the GReddy fasteners only, before I tear it apart and find out when it's too late. Thanks!
