An alternative is to buy one of those non slip pads(rubbery both sides) made to lay your phone on. I place that on the back of the console and the charger then is plugged in all the time to the rear DC outlet.

i usually put it between my legs unless im getting off work or heading home from the gym or somethin when im sweaty. It works well plus gives ya a little thrill when it rings lmao

I have a bracketron mount in my f-150, but unfortunately they don't have one for 350's.
as to headsets, I have a plantronics Voyager 510 that is pretty nice. My wife and a couple of friends have them too, and all are happy with them. They are in the $40 range from newegg.com.
