Default Kick butt shift ****!

got this bad boy from TWM Performance. it's their Desert Eagle weighted **** and i do mean weighted. the **** is 1.32lbs!

and no, its not huge. shifter feel was good anyway on the Z, but this makes it a tad better, plus it looks nice.

comments/opinions/questions?

Is there some kind of benifit to it being 'weigted'.

I love the way the Z shifts in factory form and I love the feel of it, too.

you mean like brushed or polished? if so, i opted for the satin finish to match the aluminum inside the car.

Blu_Blur - some people like the way it feels, the weight at the top end of the shifter acts as a counterweight of sorts, just makes the throws smoother.

It's heavy so it can be used as an emergency glass breaker in case you lock yourself in.

well i just put it on today and the car has been in the shade thus far, so i can't say for sure.

but i can say this, it is made of a big chunk of stainless steel, so if you can imagine how that would feel sitting in the sun for a couple hours.....lol. i use a window shade in the front and the rest are tinted well enough that it shouldn't be an issue.

You could put a SOLO cup over it until you drive.

Sweet looks nice, how does it feel when shifting? I had a "heavy" one too, but not 1lb!
