Question clear bra question

ordered one; it's supposed to cover the front bumper, front of the hood, and the mirrors.

for those that have them, can you easily see the line on the hood where the bra ends?

The Z I bought has one. The Line is easily seen. I like it protects the bumber and hood and looks clean. I just wonder how long do they last?

it depends on the color car. You can see it easyer on lighter car then darker. I have clear bra on mine, and plus had my CF lip cleared. It is the best investment you can spend on your car. I have had mine for 2 years now no toubles yet.

You can barely see the lines & only at certain angles. The clear bra is much better than the black vinyl bras that are 60's technology. It's worth the cost, especially if you just bought a new Z. Most dealerships nowadays are installing clear bra on high-end sports cars.

To OP: if you ordered the clear bar, are you installing it yourself? I suggest you have professionals install it for you.

I have gotten rocks that gouged the materal but not to the paint. So the clear bra is doing its job plus there has been couple black rubber marks from the truck treads, but it too is on the clear bra not my paint I also have a CF lip on my bumper, and the first thing i did was get a clear bra put on. So far so good, no rock chips. (knock on wood)

My car is black and the bra is very noticeable in my opinion. The car's paint just shines so much more than the bra that it stands out, especially after a fresh coat of wax.

Just bought a brand new Z as well. I don't drive it much, hopefully I save up enough soon to purchase one for my Z. It's been almost three months since I bought it and only 145 miles on it. Darn I need a clear bra! Expensive, but worth it.

Should i have a shop install this or try it myself? it's a really big job to line it up and make sure all the air bubbles are taken out etc...

can you cover the entire hood? no just 1/3 of it?

you do realize...Z cars already have some of the 3M clear bra on each and every 1 of em just look in front of the rear wheels, both sides, this will give you an idea of what the lines will look like on your car
