Yeah it is but it's helping my wallet. I just got my Borla exhaust today and the Stillen intake is in the mail.

Next up is a set of Rota wheels(Torque R) and tires.

i have the Stillen intakes as well. they sound awesome. makes the car sound like it should. as for HP gains.......not too sure, butt dyno felt some good throttle response.

what's the benefit of having a counter-weighted shifter? I've noticed some of the lighter ones feel a bit flimsy. I like the weight of the OEM ones, but want one just a bit shorter. I like the satin finish that TWM makes, kinda matches the silver trim in the interior.

the heavy weight on the top of a shifter, in theory, would help make the throws to be easier. i would imagine it would be more helpful on a car with a longer shift stalk, as the Z is pretty short already. think of it like this, take pencil and hold it loosely between your thumb and index finger, with your fingers at about the halfway point. now use your other hand to push it around. now take something with some weight to it and jam it on the top end of the pencil and push it forward and aft again. it should be easier to move.

i hope i explained that okay. anyways, the benefits are arguable. some people like the feel, some don't care. i like it since it helps to add a nice solid feel to my shifting, but to each their own. the stock **** is actually weighted pretty well as it is.
