Default Momo Pedals Installed

I installed these Momo Pedals and overall I'm pretty happy with them. Stock clutch and brake pedals are just cover that you can pull right off, installing the new Momo Pedals requires drilling. Stock gas pedal needs to remain because if you take it off you are left with just a piece of round bar and really not much area to mount the new Momo to. The stock gas pedal needs to be trimmed down and drilled too. Nice thing about the new pedals is they are a little wider, have more grip and you can position them where you want. For me, I wanted the gas and brake pedal closer for heel toe and it's made it easier for me. Plus, the gas pedal is not as deep now since the Momo is on top of the stock gas pedal and that has seemed to make footwork easier too.

The Blue ones would look good with your other Momo parts.

You too huh. Mine fell off too so I superglued them and they are holding good so far.

My feet think the Momo's are more sporty. Yeah the stockers have a good look too but my interior needed a change. I think the next thing is to do something with the steering wheel.

Well after contemplating for about a minute I just placed an order with my local shop (killer deal). Luckily they price match and have them in stock. I'm picking them up tomorrow.

Did I start this . The gas pedal is the most work. I used one of the existing holes in the stock gas pedal for one mounting point and the other I drilled. The Momo pedal I basically centered on the stocker than removed any material from the stock gas pedal that the Momo didn't cover. Also I removed the material on the stock gas pedal that could be seen through the holes in the Momo so it looked nice and clean. The stock gas pedal looked like this when I was done drilling and grinding . In the other picture you can see the back of the Momo mounted on the stocker and get an idea why I removed so much material.

I have some questions. You said the Momo's are a little wider, so they are closer together. How much closer in total? You also said you can position them where you want them. How so? Finally, since the gas pedal goes over the stock pedal, is the "new" gas pedal more even in height to the brake pedal when the brake pedal is fully pressed?

Thanks is advance for the help?

I managed to position brake and clutch with about the same distance apart as stock while both being a little further to the right so closer to the gas pedal. On the brake and clutch pedals, the stockers are basically covers and just layed on there so you have to peel those off then drill holes in the main pedals allowing you to put them where you want, depending on where you drill your holes. The new momo gas pedal is only about a 1/4" - 1/2" tall so when you fit that one over the stocker it's only that much taller and I found the whole set-up very comfotable and really, really helped heel toe on a car that's good for heel toe stock. The momo gas pedal is still lower than the brake, even when the brake is pressed which is how you want it for heel toe, I've tried to heel toe cars where the brake and gas are the same level when not depressed, press the brake and you'd need to be triple jointed or something to blip the throttle. Hope that helps.

Gary
