so my problem is, i was wondering what people do with the drilling holes left from the spoiler. is there a plug to stick in the hole so that water doesnt get in?

Assuming you are referring to the stock lip spoiler and that you're putting an aftermarket spoiler or wing on that will cover up the holes, you can cover and seal the holes against water with some exterior vinyl tape.

a little silicone works if you are putting another wing over it.

Patch, fill, and Paint. If your just not wanting anykind of spoiler/wing youll want a clean smooth look, your best bet is to have a pro fill it, then sand it smooth, prime and paint it the color of the car. And for the love of Z dont put plugs in the holes. The only thing worth pluging would be the rear window wipper

^ what they said. You're talking substantial $$$ to take something OFF your car; not the way most people would spend their money. Just keep the stock lip on, then (it's pretty subtle, anyway) and use the money you'd save to buy some decent mods.

Hey guys!
I am removing the Nismo V1 spoiler and putting on Nismo V2 spoiler right now!
Unfortunately there are holes still visible which are going to be welded!
Dont even ask how much that will cost!
So if anyone is thinking of changing spoilers becareful!

yeah dangit, i didnt know that it costed that much to remove the holes, if i did, i would have never gotten it.

one autobody quoted me 400$
a hooked up body shop told me 200$

-_- wow. this is ridiculous.
that is why i want to just buy a new stock hatch.

What spoiler do you have on there that you are removing? You could always post up a trade deal in the classifieds; maybe someone with the same color as you would want to trade their stock naked hatch for yours with the wing on it.
