hah yea buddy i got your info on that

the AUT is what i SHOULD HAVE bought because of the indent in the middle (which is RIGHT where mine is scratched)

those 2 white dots are where the hood basically rubs against the CF so much that it begins to scrape it... lol hold up... i gota do something im goin outside to take another pic of it, it's raw now

Here ya go!

**this is the CF Air Guide II, on a 07Z, stock hood**
**THIS IS NOT AUT**

by the way, the place i bought this from advertised it was for 03-07, however when i got it, it did not have the extra lip on the passenger side, and i had to cut out a little notch... unfortunatly, the time and skill i put into cutting everything perfectly all went down the toilet when the f'n hood scratched it, im so pissed

i showed someone how mine are scratched, and it looked like a lightbulb literally lit up above his head and he HAD to show me the AUT one, so this is why they make that little dip in the middle...

There are no rubbing issue with this cooling panel as far as we know. It's been on the demo Z for a few weeks now and no visible rubbing on the panel.

got mine about a week ago and install it. It looks really good, but the fitment is far from perfect.

I need to dremmel out all of the holes to have them align with factory bolts. Even that, the part where it covers up the intake hole need to be trim down because it would not fit properly.

Almost throw this piece away, but kindda glad I didnt. You just have to work around this piece to make it fit.

Hmmm... sounds familiar, Gary swears they are a perfect fit and that somehow WE are doing something wrong. I'm sure you saw my post as well...

Guys there might be a few bad apples in this batch of shipment from AUT Design. If you have had problems with fitment / installation please feel free to contact me. AUT has very supportive customer support and will exchange if there is a problem in their product.

Here is what mine looks like.

Looks good and good quality however the fit along the edge is off due to holes not matching up. I was able to get all the plugs in, but will have to go back and dremel them out a bit.

Mine fit exact same way. But I need to dremel pretty much all of the holes because they're off/ not big enough. There's also a little warp on the edge where the plate cover the intake hole. I need to cut out about 2/8 of a inch around the two little slot in front of the radiator bolt to have the plate slide in, other wise it won't fit at all.

I was thinking about calling Gary and have him replace me a new one. But when I really think about it, it's to much hassle - the waiting time for the shipment to go back and forth, the cost of sending back, etc. It would be better if I just throw this piece away and buy something real instead.

I'm done with the fake stuff. This is the first and last fake thing that I will ever buy for my Z. AUT plate seem to be the copy of Final Flag cf cooling plate, I'm just gonna order one from bulletproof or something.

But again, for a $100 cf plate you can't expect much from it.
