Default eyelid question

hey whats up everyone. i really want to get some eyelids for my 2004 PPW 350z, but i am debating to get the ones you get painted or the the overlay that bluebatmobile sells. all thoughts would be appreciated

How do they look in the dark with the lights on?

I feel like the vinyl ones will let light through

I have a dual version avaiable, its a bl;ack layer underneath so light doesnt pass through overlay . $5 more.
