Default Car Cover Question

Didn't know what section this should go under...

Got a Z...refer here https://my350z.com/forum/new-owners/289037-new-z-deal-of-a-lifetime.html

I really would like to get a custom car cover? Heard good things about Noah's covers... Car is outside a lot and I'm still in college, might be awhile w/o a garage. But being that I have the wing I have, does anyone know how it's going to fit? Should I just get a non-fitted? Problem with the non-fitted, do they make non-fitted that lock? really like the lock feature on the ready fit. I could just see someone being dick and still a damn car cover for their kia rio.

if u cant find a non-fitted with a lock u can cut a hole put some grommets in the fabric and run the cable through.....good luck....bump for more info...

Noah covers are big, bulky and disintegrate after a couple of years. I highly recommnend a Weathershield cover, like the OEM cover. What wing do you have? I have the Nismo wing and a front lip and the OEM cover fits like a glove, even with this stuff on.

The wing is big. You will have a difficult time fitting a cover properly under the bumper. If it doesn't fit properly, a 5 MPH wind will blow it off.

I had previously checked into buying just Weathershield fabric and having the OEM cover altered to fit a wing (before I knew it would fit over the Nismo). You could go that route as well. Then you'd have a quality, fitted cover and just modify the portion of it you need to. You can buy the fabric from CoverCraft; just email them.

If a weatherproof custom cover is what you're after, call the California Car Cover company (Google them). It will cost a pretty penny, but they can custom-stich one in any of their cloths (huge selection) for practically any bodykit configuration.

Covercraft makes custom car covers in variety of fabrics, including Noah. I have their Technalon/Evolution custom cover for my Z Roadster, and it fits great.

Depending on the size of your wing, a "regular" custom cover for your Z may fit even with your wing. If not, they can make a custom pattern for you. Here's a link to their website for more info:
