Default questions about installing 06 headlights on 04

I just did the install and took me about 3 hours to do all the wiring and soldering. Finally got them on and they look great, except one thing. When the headlights are on, there's a tiny halogen bulb on the 06 right below the projector/xenon bulb that's on. I think that light is called the parking light, but the problem is that it's on when I'm not parking, and on anytime that the headlights are on. I think it really takes away from the brightness of the HIDs, and add a yellow look to the white/blueish color of the HIDs. What's the best way to disable that annoying little bulb? I was thinking about just taking out the bulb completly, but it would leave a little hole there.
For those that have 06s Z with the 06 lights, does that light always stay on? Or is it something that I did wrong when I did the light modding?

and that's all I'll say about that.

The light is normal. Yes, it's always on when the headlights are on, or, get this, when just the parking lights are on (hoping you know that's just what they're called and they don't really facilitate parking). Your '04 headlights had them too. Replace the stock bulbs with those super-white ones (the blue tinted bulbs) or LED bulbs (look better, but may fail prematurely due to the heat of the housing).
