Default Seat Heaters, or should I say...warmers

The heaters in my '03 Touring don't seem to be working that well... or the heaters just really suck.

When I leave it on either high or low setting (cant tell temp difference), I can barely feel the heat. Every once in a while it will kick it up and get hot, but only for a couple minutes.

Has anyone else had this happen? What can be done?

Thanks,

Rob

Its August. How hot do you want the seats to get? 125 degrees?

HAHA reminds me of a time when i had my cousin in the Z and we were taking the twisties for a beer run. Nevertheless I took him around a 45 mph curve so fast by the time we got there the ride had made him switch on the heated seat. Im like "dude what is wrong with yoU?" "he said.. your car makes a lot of heat when its driven hard"... HAHAH

Well have any of you had this problem and fixed it. If the stock ones are that nice, I'll put the time into fixing it.

HAHA, stalarman, tell your buddy that you don't drive a Viper... your heatshield actually works!

I have same car/year as you do. The heater in the seats works off some temperature input so if its hot outside its not going to heat your seats up as much as it would if its cold. States that somewhere in the Manual.

hmm, never heard of that... i figured it was just electric. But that would make sense why it would go in and out. Thanks for the input tho, we'll see how she does in the winter.

My seats get really hot. It's a comfortable, cozy hot, not singing off body hair hot. My friend and girlfriend think it's funny to turn it on and watch me complain about how hot it is today...
