Default Interior 'Map' Lights

Can anyone tell me what bulbs these are? I wanted to swap them out for the leds on http://www.superbrightleds.com

Or better yet... which one of these would fit?

1)
3022 White LED Festoon Base Bulb
31x10mm 12 VDC
Available with 2 or 4 LEDS aiming in the same direction
$ 2.45

2)
1142 White LED Festoon bulb
42x11mm 12 VDC Festoon Base Bulb with 6 Super White LEDS
$ 3.49

3)
Neither

Thanks in advance.

Yes, you need resistors to prevent overpowering the LEDs.

I'm currently selling my Luxeon dome lights. They've been in my car since day 1, and still lights up nicely.

I'm going to replace them with this year's production Luxeons because of improved color rendering.

They look a tad yellow, but the light emitted is very neutral and easy on the eyes at night. I just want a whiter look.

Here's a picture of what this coloration looks like.

I believe the ones on superbright LEDs have build in resistors as they are made for a specific application and current.

loose LEDs that they also sell, or luxeon, do require resistors as well as a bit extra work, they arent made to plug in, if your not familiar Id go with the regular premade set, or the ones from DJ since they are already setup.

-Once I find the materials, I'll figure something out. Now I got 4 tests to study for next week. Anyone enjoy Thermodynamics?

not "just an led" they always just have 2 contacts, no actual peice.

but I believe superbrightleds makes them with a plug peice already assembled to plug right in, and I guess piaa does as well.

Heh... we all took a quiz today, and I didn't know anyone who could finish the problem.

Anyhow... can i still be inventor? :-D AHAH... or DJ... it would be fine.

*Currently talking to someone about getting plastic bulb pieces.
*I think I found a good place for resistors... maybe zener diodes as well!
