Default Deciding on the seats: Recaro Vs. Bride

Trying to decide on the seats. I like both of them, so it's a really tough one. I want to hear some opinions, and those who've sat in both or owned one of them, chime in and share your experience.

The models are: Bride Ergo 2 and Recaro sport seat. Both are around same price.

a LOT of people have bride seats now. There a great seat dont get me wrong. The Recaro's are rare in comparison. I'd go with the Recaro's just to stand out

you really can't go wrong with either. try to sit in both to see what fits you better. the recaros are alot wider. what is your waist size?

waist about 33-34. I dont like how bride seats have "bride" on the headrests, it's a bit silly to me. That's one of the reasons why i'm in doubt.

Anyway, I called some shop and they recommend recaro. I'll just roll with that. I need opinions on the colors though: http://recaro.com/index.php?id=3885&L=2

It has to be monotone (black&black, black&grey).

you would be fine for the brix2 or cuga as well - they have larger bolsters and are more grippy.

if you're going to get the recaros the speed model is the better of the reclinable seats and offers the biggest bolsters for us spec seats. they also have the recaro name in the headrest.

i'm personally a big fan of the bride, especially the gradient material i have the cugas.

No offense to anyone with bride seats... I think its a you love it or you hate it sort of thing... I would feel like I was a rolling bride advertisement.

car is carbon silver. What's that got to do with seats ? The interior is all black so that's what should matter.

I'm picking Bride for obvious reasons, with your waist size, the erogos will be fine. Recaro's are also hot, but I see alot more recaro's then brides.

lol. Define "alot." I RARELY see brides, and what you see posted online doesn't count.

I have the BRIX II and love them, long drives can be a bit difficult. If these are for daily driving, the recaro's might be a better choice. You can't go wrong w/ either one. To me Bride's are great for both function and form, while the recaro's don't have much "flare".

Thanks for all your inputs! Im going to get recaro seats over bride (still about 80/20 in favor of recaros). Black leather and black suede, it's a bit pricey compared to bride ergos, but definately looks mad. I will post the ones i order them. Then more pics once they are in the car. Are these seats lower than the stock cloth seats ? If so then how much lower ?

Every one in an evo has recaro seats. Do you want to be associated with a mitsubishi.
