Hello,

I have just recently noticed that there are is a crease/ding on the plastic body panel where the doors meet the roof. I have a crease on both driver and passenger sides, at the exact same spot. I'm pretty sure it isn't normal but I wonder how both of these plastic parts could have been damaged exactly the same way ???

Does your Z have these creases/dings as well ? Please see my attached pic for comparison. (note that the licence plate cutout is different )

Yup, mine has it too; very subtle and not exactly what I'd call a crease, but it's there. I've seen this on many Zs; I think it's normal.

 

never noticed. maybe it is more apparent on different colors (I have CS)

yeah I think i've seen that on mine too, from the right (er, wrong) angle

 

redline here, i have those on my trunk.

 

I've got two 'dents' on the hatch area that have been there since I bought the car but I didn't notice them until later...
