Default Clear bra guys - any experience with this film cut on eBay?

This guy swears his product is identical to the $75-150 3M kits out there. Has anyone purchased it and can offer some insight? His auction is awfully convincing, but I'm still skeptical.

I would not attempt to install this unless you've done a few installs. - I would not trust it. Plus no lifetime warranty

I'm not installing it - a pro is. I don't believe 3M has life-time either.

you dont know the quality of the product. You will regret it when it turns yellow a few years down the road.

Yeah. I did some Googling and tons of people have installed it. But I noticed that it's vinyl, and not what 3M uses. So yeah, I'll pony up the extra $100 for 3M reliability.

How about this guy?

Or should I just buy from 3M directly you think?

And do most people get the hood and all that other stuff done too or just the bumper??

Unless a 3M product is purchased from, and installed by, a 3M-authorized installer, it does NOT carry any warranty. Otherwise, it is a lifetime warranty.

No need to skimp on a product that can make your car look like *** if it doesn't work as advertised. Stick with the "real thing."

I went to a local 3M dealer in my area and they told me that those are probably mass produced and may not be the exact size after u recieve them bc they may shrink down in size or have been made from a bad template. U really wont know until u put them on to find out if u got a great deal. It's like a hit or miss where if u have installed clear bras before then u can do it yourself without getting charged to extra fees by a pro shop if the clear bra is either too short or too long.
