Lic plate uses a bulb, not LEDs. For the size, check your manual.

You can put an LED wedge bulb in there.

I know that. A wedge bulb is still that, a bulb. He meant to ask for the bulb size, hence my advice for the manual.

the size is 168. I have PIAA Led 168 in mine and it kinda looks like the new lexus lights. Not as bright though.

Does anyone make a wedge bulb replacement where the LED's point down at the plate?

PIAA makes some. A lot of sites like
SuperbrightLEDs or
AutoLumination sell them but there were issues a while back about the LEDs burning out prematurely. I don't know if that problem has been corrected or not.

Nice, thats exactly the shade of colour I was looking for. How much dimmer do they appear? and did you order them from PIAA?

i bought some super white piaa bulbs from ebay.
