Default Nismo edition Z front bumper...

Please forgive if this has been asked and answered, but do a search on the topic and you get the phone book...

Anyway, I'm wondering if the front bumper that comes on the Nismo 350Z is available seperately from Nissan. I thought I read somewhere that the parts on the Nismo Z weren't going to be available peacemeal but I could be crazy. If yes, has anyone priced it? If its not, has there been any discussion of a replica?

BTW, is this bumper considered the "V3"?

Yes, been discussed before, but what the hell...

You'll need a VIN to order any "replacement parts", as they are not available separately. In other words, you are supposed to be the legitimate owner of one.

As for the terminology, it depends on who you ask. Some people here might call it the "V3", but IMHO, the official "NISMO kits (V1, GT Type-E, V2)" are the onces made by NISMO in FRP (and CF for the V2 wing central finisher). On the other hand, remember that these "07 factory" body pieces are mass produced (1500 for USDM, and some more for JDM) in OEM urethane.

PS. For all ~factory '07 NISMO Z~ owners who have a different opinion, by all means make it known, but please refrain from hate comments if you disagree.

Thanks for the info hbenet. I was pretty sure you couldn't just order them from a dealer. It would be nice to have the nismo bumper in urethane; but I guess that would mean finding a nismo Z vin and then paying the dealer a small fortune.

Hopefully someone produces a quality replica.

^ You're very welcome. If you're really interested in getting one, you should contact a friendly parts department. Who knows, may they can help you get you one.

Part numbers for this aero has been available and you don't need a VIN to get it.

^ The million dollar question.

Lets place bets... I'll guess around $1500 for the front alone.

I do not doubt Andy for getting these Bumpers in the US, however when we inquired about it in Japan, we were told that we needed a VIN number for this item, which we currently do not have but are trying to work out.

All of you are way off, lol! The bumper consists of 2 major portions that complete the bumper. A LOT of hardware is also needed for the install. The retail price on the main bumper without the lower diffuser is $676.26.

For those of you who are trying to take the part numbers off this picture; keep in mind that the part numbers you see are only the prefix and is not even the true part number so if you're trying to source out this bumper on your own by using these part numbers, they won't work.
