Thumbs up Carbon hood

Just an FYI, we just released our carbon fiber OEM hood for 350Z, here are some pics..

http://www.importfan.com/series.asp?SeriesID=479&2=1281

at the moment we only sell the OEM style, however we carry other brands with vented styles , but the price is much higher than OEM.

I will try to post some more pics after we test fit this on a 350Z

Default Just curious...

Ted, have you compared the weight of the stock hood with the CF one? I think this fact (how much weight loss) especially might raise interest in members...

since our hood is aluminum, the weight loss will be minimal ...

Post Weight of hood

I will try to weight some on monday, we actually sold out before I could weigh any. I have updated the pictures on our website

http://www.importfan.com/product.asp?3=4267

, we test fitted them on the Tein 350Z, fitment was perfect. Also in production are carbon fiber fenders, release is approximately 65 days from today 6-6-03

Sounds good, any plans for a CF Hatch too? That would shave some serious weight.
