I have condensation in my headlight so soon i will be looking for a new unit, but the bulb has recently gone out and i would like to replace both bulbs with a nicer blue/ purpler colour and perhaps a little brighter. What is the best brand and K size to go with without doing any damage.. thanks

OEM is the brightest, anything bluer/purpler is going to have significantly less output than stock. To get true blue/purple and better lighting, you need to upgrade to 06 bixenons with a color mod, or retrofit a projector into your 03 headlights
