hey whats up guys. I need help getting a front lip. I really like the way the VeilSide V.1 front lip looks. However, i dont know if i want to drop $450 for it. I saw evo-r had the replicas for sale in 2 pieces, fiberglass. Any Z owners have anything to report on this in terms or reliablity, look and fit? For $169 plus shipping, i've really been considering it. I need a lip that is subtle and will give me ground clearance because in NY, potholes are a very common thing. I also came across this pic. I dont know whose Z this belongs to, but great pic to whoevers it is:

which front lip is that? I know those are NIsmo sideskirts so im assuming also Nismo lip? Anyway this lip looks subtle too and it may just be what im looking for...unless it costs $400 +

ooo alright i was going to mention INGs too. Hows the clearance for the INGs? The Veilside lip looks pretty small but now so does the ING. Which of these 2 lips would have more clearance i.e. less problems going up driveways or anything of the sort. And whats a fair price for the urethane lip? and any user reviews for the Veilside replica from EvoR?
Edit: ok yeah i jsut found the INGS lip. Its considerably more expensive. Intense has it for $500. So im either going to get the replica 2 piece lip from Evo R or the authentic lip from Intense for $100 plus more. The reason im leaning towards the replica is because of the fact that its cheaper, and 2 piece would be easier install and maybe better fitment? The Veilside lips i hear are tough to install because the fitting is so tight. And the downsides to both is that its fiberglass....not too sure if this is wise to do because one little hit and the thing might fall to pieces

INGS is probably the lowest lip out there
If you need it to last on NYC roads, fiberglass should not even enter into your thought process - only urethane, which leaves you with NISMO, Veilside and Greddy if your car is a 2003-2005, and nothing basically if the car is an 06+
The Veilside urethane lip fits perfectly..their fiberglass and carbon ones, not so much (they fit, but often (not always) need additional work to get them to fit perfectly)

^^^yeah ive been thinking about that. I have already decided against fiberglass. I would get the urethane lip, IF i do decide to get a lip at all.
oh yeah, do you guys have a shop here in NYC? It would be easier for me to pick up the parts if i do decide to get them. Thanks

I have the evo-r veilside lip. Fitment isn't exactly perfect as they advertise. Maybe 7.5 out of 10. My lip is the one piece, not two piece like you mentioned. Reliability wise, i've scraped a couple times and it's held up very nicely.

yeah i wasnt too happy about that. I saw the pics that somebody posted of your Evo-R lip. Fitment was ok, but i checked the price(of the 1 piece) and its about $400 now. So i would rather pay that price for an authentic veilside.

Oh yea, before you get ripped off. Go to intensepower.com for authentic veilside. The price on their website is 289 plus shipping. I bought my lip painted and shipped for nearly 460 so go figure lol
