I have seen a few of these mirrors on z's on this site but i have not seen them in person. What do you guys think of them. I need to replace my mirrors this winter and was leaning towards these.

if you're going to get em, get the real deal
I love my Craftsquare mirrors

Like anything you do to the exterior, it's got to flow with everything else I think. The stock Z is a great looking car, and does not need alot of wild stuff to really make it stand out. But at the same time, resist the urge to just start taking on parts, without the big picture in mind. At this point in the car's lifecycle, I think you could probably find pictures of just about every combo of mods out there.

i just need to paint or replace my factory ones and would like something a little unique.
no one said they were reasonable - they are expensive, you're right
but they are very unique, and made exceptionally well, and in a world of knock off parts where quality takes a big back seat to getting it on the market at all costs, these mirrors remain one of the most favorite things I've done to the car

They actually suit my car perfectly IMHO, the smaller profile being a much better look for my car vs the bulky stock ones. Plus, they have the added benefit of being alot lighter than stock, and offer much better vision vs stock (much wider field of vision vs stock ones). When I am in the Long Island Expressway for example, if I am in the right lane, I can see clearly into the far left lane of traffic, something you cannot do with the stock mirrors at all. As for the losing the power mirror function, I could care less - I'm the only one who drives my car and the seating position and mirror position never change anyway
If you search for the replica ones, you can see some of the issues people have had with the hardware, etc. On my car, I've had the Craftsquare since 2005, and have never once had to tighten the hardware, even with many track days, and daily use.
