My cupholder up front that pops out of the dash came completely out as i tried to pull it out to put my drink into, along with a skinny (toothpick skinny) piece of plastic... is there a way to repair it? It goes backin and everthing and can be pulled out but it will come out if pulled past the stop point... anyone know how to repair or know of a guide that tells how?

 

Ive taken mine out before but after folding it the right way it goes back in and stayed in its place. My problem know is that I pushed it in to far and now it is stuck.

 

It goes back in when folded correctly and comes in and out correctly but sometimes when you pull it out it wont retract fully and will come out, other times it will come out to the stop point but if you pull any further it will come out... what keeps it from coming all the way out? that is my problem..

My cupholder has been stuck for more than a year, I don't even acknowledge that atrocity as a cup holder.. it's a pathetic joke ;p

 

reason i am worried is i am going to buy that belkin ipod holder that fits into a cup holder and when im messing with the ipod i dont want it to fall out
