I ripped my front bumper off...
OK, here's the secenario:
It was lightly raining and my girlfriend just dropped me off in front of my apartment. There are 3 parking spots directly in front, perpendicular to the apartment and a fourth spot that is on the side of the apartment. The fourth spot is recessed and has a garage at the end of it. Keep in mind it's not a large area. She pulled in the spot right in front of my porch, and I walked to my car because I had to go to the store, and she had to go home.
So, she's really only about 10 feet away. I got into my car and saw two magazines that my mother gave me to give to her that were junking up my car. So as she starts to back out, I honk. Keep in mind that the 350z horn is pretty loud as you all know. She didn't hear me, so I honk again. Then I lay on the horn, she keeps pulling out into the road, completely oblivious. Meanwhile I'm backing out, baffled and annoyed that she can't hear me honking and see me flicking my lights on and off.
So I kind of back out an an angle, paying attention to her and not my car of course. If you look at my ascii drawing, the road is only about 4 feet from the back end of her car. At the left edge of the drawing is a curb and a no parking sign. I proceed to back out of the driveway at and angle, go over the curb slightly, and peel my front bumper right off on the no parking sign!
All the while my girlfriend drove away, didn't see a thing and drove all the way home. She had to come back and get me to bring me where I was going. I was pretty livid with myself. It's funny and ridiculous at the same time.
SOOOO... I peeled the front bumper off, but it's still attached on the right side and I actually bent the fender too! This black plastic piece broke off into a few pieces that was underneath the bumper (it goes almost the length of the bumper). I'm thinking I should get a new front bumper and that black plastic piece (if anyone knows what it is or where to get it, please tell me) online to save money, and then have the rest done at a body shop. Any suggestions?

the dots are there because spaces aren't recognized, just pretend the dots aren't there.
