I'm buying my 350z in a month or so...and am planning to have the center of the roof cut out and a fixed glass roof fabricated similar to the 911 Targa S.

I'm still in the planning stages and am looking for not only a body shop that can do it to factory standards, but also which type and color glass.

I'm excited at the whole project, as this is only one part of a long list.

The soft top is 250lbs heavier. Not 500lbs.

Hopefully it'd look nicer than the current softtops

And guys, maybe convertible drivers aren't worried about uber performance and lightweightness... Get over the weight factor... Converts aren't meant for autox anyway.

Hell, I am all for a cute look that will take away from structural rigidity of the Z & as a bonus add much needed weight to the Z car.
