That is a good photoshop mod. However, I can see evidence of where the changes were made. I am really good at photoshop, but it would take me hours to do something like that. Whoever made the change certainly spent alot of time on it (presuming that they had to mock up the bumper from scratch).

I understand why you would be mad. The image is your property period. They should have asked for permission. Upon request, I am sure you would have been happy to let they use the image.

Thanks for the link. I couldn't really make out the name on the photo. Two Rs, two Ys? I've sent him a PM.

 

I remember that pic being the start of importlife's body kit and read through some of those old threads. I couldn't decipher his name from the pic either.

 

"If" the picture is posted on this forum, and someone wants to photo shop it and share it (or an idea) "only" on this forum, I do not see what the problem is.

If a photo is "borrowed" and used to make money, then that's stealing.

The simple point of this thread is that this guy DID NOT ask to use my picture and even went as far as to PS my copyright and web addy info out. That's horseshit no matter how you look at it.

 

I'm with ya, Brad. He should have at least asked. It's not like that would be a difficult thing to do.

 

I dont see whats the big deal...and whats up with your "F" word comments about it? Maybe you should copyright your pics if you are going to lose it like that.

1. they stole a picture of your car
2. they put an ugly bumper and hood on it

that bumper looks like it has cancer.

is it me or am i missing something with this new "carbon fiber is cool" thing? i dont find it all that great, but thats just me.
