Default Fuel Door Replacement?

Hey Everyone, I need a bit of insight here. Last night I opened my fuel door to fill up, but when I tried to close it, it would not latch shut. A small pin fell out that seem to hold an rod type thing that the fuel door latches onto. After driving the car, I think the rod had fallen through it's hole into the right rear panel. I'm sure I'm probably going to have to bring this to the dealer, however do any of you know if I can get an after market fuel door? Perhaps a manual fuel door that doesnt require the use of the fuel door release button? Any help would be appreciated.. Thanks!!

There's been a technical service bulletin out for some time about fuel doors failing to open upon first push of the remote button on previous year Z's - recommend you go to the dealer and cite that and have them look at it.

Don't know if your prob is related, but it's worth a shot since fuel doors have a TSB out on them.

Thanks EF. I'll give it a shot.
