I need help finding a short antenna.
And no, I do not want the S2K antenna (The base does not sit flush and it has a mat finish, while the base has a gloss finish)

 

Get the s2k antenna. You won't find one that works as well. If you are that nit picky about the color difference, you shouldn't own a Z..... my oem paint is a different color on almost every panel

looks fine to me... and works as good as the stocker. I also bought a couple chrome stubbies that don't look good and have horrible reception. Keep em in the glove box when someone decides to steal mine.

get a HONDA ELEMENT ANTENNA.. it sits flush at the base and works just as well as the honda S2K.

I had both the s2k and element and the element is a perfect fit at the base.

 

I didn't like the s2k one either so I went for a long shot and bought a shorty antenna off eBay. I ordered it from Germany, it was supposed to be for Mini or something like that. For $14 shipped so I said **** it why not? I love it, I live in Metro boston so the quality is just as good as the factory one in the City. The further I go the more I notice the difference. I got it for looks though, I listen to the radio 2% of the time.

will the antena off a sl550 fit theres are only about a inch high cone i think

 

i bought the perrin antennae off of ebay for like $25. Fits well, looks nice, but works like ***. absolutely zero reception. good thing i don't listen to am/fm.

 

I got the polished antenna from Courtesy. Sits flush. Looks nice. Reception suffered...but uh, I've owned my Z for 6 months now, and my radio stations aren't even programmed. Hahaha. So it just goes to show you I don't give a sh*t about the radio.

This is a chopped Element antenna. The reception isn't all that great. Little worse than the uncut version.
