Progress on my Satin/flat Black Paint Job
oh they shaved my emblems, both front and rear, and side emblems, and they shaved my rear wiper kept the antenna. They're also painting my door handles. Getting rid of the silver crap. But i saw the door jams, after they were painted didn't even see any trash on that.
But sorry guys pictures will be up as soon as my cars up, don't really have time to go up there everyday and check on it. Army recruiter man, gotta keep finding them kids lol..............

well i went back to the paint shop last night to check on the z, and still kinda wondering when the hell the cars gonna get done, cuz they still haven't started the spraying of the body yet.
But they put the doors back on, the hood, and the trunk, and if you open the door the door jams have already been sprayed, under the trunk, and under the hood. So hopefully today they said they can put the whole car in the paint booth for spraying. Cuz it's killing me how long they had this car for.
And the front and rear bumper, and side skirts still haven't been sprayed yet. I think I'm just going to go back up there friday to check on it. But this car probably isn't going to be done by friday i guarantee it......but everythings looking pretty good so far.

my car took over 100 hours to prep and paint...and I didnt change the color. Not surprised its taking this long
BTW..BASF has satin paints now, might have been worth looking into

hahahaha yea man it's pretty crazy dude, now the expected time of finish is not later than WEDNESDAY.....i'm sure it'll be worth the wait, judging from what he has done so far now in that color. but stopped by today, snapped some pics with the blackberry, again sorry for the poor quality lol.....

It's going into the booth tomorrow, but they don't work weekends so everything should be put back together monday and tuesday, no later than weds should be done.

preciate it everybody, i'm going to the shop monday, to check on it's progress, supposedly he already sprayed the body on friday, but i didn't get a chance to swing down there.
