Default Amber headlight corner replacement?

So I'm planning on blacking out my headlight housing soon. I've seen that people just simply remove the amber reflector in the corner. But is there a clear or smoked one I can buy somewhere to replace it? I know I can just paint it black, but I'm not too sure how that will come out and how the light beneath will look through the paint. Does anyone know if they sell that anywhere, or if it looks ok without the reflector? I've been looking around with no results. Thanks!

Oh! Can anyone tell me the size of all the bulbs in the headlights?? (mainly the parking light beneath the projector, the light underneath the amber corner reflector, and the front and rear turn signal) any help Would be appreciated and YES I've tried the "search" button already

how have you never heard of painting the inside of your headlights??!? Its one of the main threads in the DIY's section. I already know about the film over the headlights, but I dont like that look too much. Plus its just too easy

clearcorners.com sells a clear replacement strip. He's talking about painting the inside of the light, not the actual clear housing. The only issue is killing your headlight output.

Wow! Those look nice. But looks pretty expensive...

What do you mean killing the headlight output? You mean the amount of light coming out? Well I obviously wouldn't paint the reflective background behind the lights, just the trimming inside the housing...

yep, the more you paint, the less light! When you go to paint them I would replace that little orange strip! IMO

Also, does anyone have pictures of the orange strip (amber diffuser) painted black and the lights on? I'm thinking of doing this, but I'm not sure how a led light will look with it painted...

these do NOT fit HID headlights (meaning if you have stock HID's, u have to use a regular bulb)

What do you mean by "shave"? Do you mean you just painted the reflector? Looks really good though!!! Does light show through at night?

Its a fiberglass product stuffed into the reflector area sanded down to match the body lines of the car then painted. No light gets through.
