Default how do you remove the steering wheel?

I'm working on a "paddle" shifter mod for the 5AT.... I need to remove the steering wheel to gain access to the inside.

How is the steering wheel removed? Anyone with a service manual that can post a pic of give directions?

thanks!!

The whole steering column or just the housing? To remove the housing just unscrew the driver's dash (2 on the bottom and one under the kick panel) once thats off, unscrew 4 screw from the bottom of the column (one is under the adjust arm) Pull the ring thats around the ignition and pull the housing apart.
