Default unused space behind driver's seat

For those of us who are non-bose and sub free. Is there any way to utilize the space behind driver's seat. Turning it into another storage compartment like the one behind passenger's side?

I'm going to put a sub in there!
But i don't see any reason why someone can't cut it and put a door on it...

makes sense. If the dimensions behind driver side is the same as passanger side, i can simply order the identical the glove box door and slap it on. anyone tried doing that?

n8vz or toykilla:

did either of you find out if you could turn the compartment behind the driver's seat into another storage compartment?

If so, what is needed to do the job?

Thanks,

Kyle

boy no one likes to use search. Just give courtsey nissan a call. you need the glove box support bracket. the glove box and the door. Its pretty pricey from what others have said here.
Also, involves you to do some panel removal to install it (again search and you'll see how to remove the panels)

That sounds a bit rude. I did several searches on this topic, but couldn't find anything similar to this thread.

Still, I do appreciate the response and I'll be giving Courtsey Nissan a call.

Thanks

I looked into adding an additional glove box and that price sounds about right from Courtesy. The catch is that the door with the latch does not come with the glove box kit. That is part of the panel that goes around both openings which is not included in the glove box cost.

I thought about using the current latch-less cover and making my own latch after a visit to the local Home Depot.
