Default Pic Request: Painted Seibon TS Hood

I am sick of searching and have to go run some errands so hopefully when I get back somebody will have replied to this .

I am looking for pictures of Seibon TS hoods with everything painted but the carbon vents. Thanks!

^^^Thanks Mike!

My plan was to leave all 3 vents CF and have the last vent (closest to the windshield fade into Daytona Blue like Cheston painted his hatch...

Has anyone painted their TS hood like that yet? I think I have seen it once before somewhere...

Lightbulb Hey Mike...

good call on the fade. I just saw that hatch pic recently and I intend to fade it out like that in the spring. Not to hijack the thread but before I do that I want to incorporate the OEM glass for the defroster feature and the rear wiper (as my car is a DD) on the Seibon hatch. Any thoughts on this? I believe it is possible but there don't seem to be too many examples of it around.

Back to your original point. Go with the hood and the fade. Timeless.

Ps. I was going to fade the top two vents but I opted to "pin-stripe" them out on the edges. Both looks are great!

I have run the stock glass on the Seibon hatch for about a year now without any issues...

nice. So no issues with the defroster? I see you don't have the wiper re: the track. Can this be incorporated too? I need to see when it rains!!! Damn highways lol

Oh I don't even have the A/C in there anymore lol, I don't see why the hatch would make a difference in weather or not the defroster works though so long as the factory glass is there.

Just move to Nevada or Arizona where we don't need defrosters.

Well, I am not sure exactly which hatch that is on Cheston's car, but I would venture to bet its a Seibon, and he has his rear wiper in. And I just noticed, it looks to be the stock glass too. If you look at where the rear strut tower cover is, you can see the brownish lines of the window defroster.

Just found that Cheston's hatch is made by Fiberimages, not Seibon, if that makes a difference to you.

I have a buddy that got the Seibon hatch, and they have a place where you can punch out for the wiper (if I remember correctly, this was a year ago I saw it)

I have the stock glass in my Mastergrade hatch, haven't hooked up the diffuser though. I need to do that now that its getting cold.

Default Hey

^ thanks. If you can, post pix when you're done. I need to keep both the defroster and wiper functions and want to stick with Seibon. Doing it more so for appearance as opposed to weight savings so, I am ok with maintaining OEM glass.

I wonder what it looks like from the interior with the wiper in...?
