just ordered a Audi TT uncut remote. I will try to do this mod in the next couple of weeks using Accordfreak's DIY.

the remote was $45. I may buy a OEM 350z remote and program it so if it doesnt work or I mess it up I will still have one to use for my car.

I'll keep you guys updated and I will take some pics.

So you'll have a Audi key fob (with an audi symbol on it)? Or can you remove it and put a Nissan symbol on it?

^Im pretty sure you can remove it. I will have to brain storm once I recieve it, so I can figure something out. I will have to mess around with it. Atleast it will give me something to do at work on a saturday.


Does anyone know where I can get a blank uncut switchblade fob?(no car symbol)

I guess nobody wants to get paid making people some good looking key fobs/switchblade key. Cause I sure want one.

hopefully I will be able to come up with something in the next week or so. I have a couple projects that I will be working on(one is a switchblade fob) and if the demand is high and they turn out okay Im going to become a sponsor and sell them.



I am trying to find a swichblade fob that is close to the size on the OEM remote so there wont be too much trimming that needs to be done. I would like to use the same buttons that we use now, so basically all that will need to be done was for a person to take apart their OEM remote and put the board in the new switchblade remote and then get the key cut and BAM you'll be ready to go.


I'll post updates when I have some. Hopefully I will be able to work on it next weekend.

update: I just havent recieve the finally bit of the supplies yet. So it would be this weekend but next weekend before I will have any progress pics.

^^ not what im looking for i think the altima or whatever fob that is just as ugly as the Z's i want the switchblad that would be sick.
