Ok so i removed the strut bar, adjust the latch as high as it can go, even took off other pieces that might be in the way. I have no aftermarket under the hood and that damn hood still wont lock wtf. Pissing me off anyone solve this?
not sure what the problem can be since i dont have one, but i've heard of a lot of people having problems with the TS hood. too bad cause its my favorite CF hood
My body shop had a heck of a time installing the hood. No matter what they did it would not fit. They finally wound up making a bracket for the hood latch mechanism and voila!!

nothing you are going to do short of removing the latch and getting hood pins is going to solve it - the problem is in their mold, and has been since day 1.
always fit fine. I just have metal pins and latch locks up fine as well. I really have no idea what's getting in the way of yours. Do you have any photos? Tough to get a good read without a visual.
You have to adjust the latch, there are 3 10mm bolts holding it in place. Loosen them, slide the latch up a bit, tighten 'em down then try to close it. You just have to tinker with it for a while.
Moved the latch as high as possible....doesnt latch. Had to use hood pins which i didnt want too. Also the hood doesnt clear the factory strut bar so it sticks up on both sides. Now im not saying all seibon hoods are garbage but mine definetly wasnt A+ material.

like something was up with this one. It is by no means perfect, as many aftermarket components are not however, it shouldn't provide this much grief either...
i had a similar problem with mine it would barely latch. and then the hood spidercracked about 3in on the front of the hood right on top of the latch. looks like it paint and pins for me. do pins and save your hood
I just put the vs2 style hood on mine and had the same issues. I just removed the stock latch and strut bar. I ordered a Cusco bar and just used hood pins.
