My body shop had a heck of a time installing the hood. No matter what they did it would not fit. They finally wound up making a bracket for the hood latch mechanism and voila!!

nothing you are going to do short of removing the latch and getting hood pins is going to solve it - the problem is in their mold, and has been since day 1.

always fit fine. I just have metal pins and latch locks up fine as well. I really have no idea what's getting in the way of yours. Do you have any photos? Tough to get a good read without a visual.

my guess is that if it latches at all, its anywhere from a mm or 2 to 1/4 inch higher on the passenger side vs the driver side

You have to adjust the latch, there are 3 10mm bolts holding it in place. Loosen them, slide the latch up a bit, tighten 'em down then try to close it. You just have to tinker with it for a while.

Moved the latch as high as possible....doesnt latch. Had to use hood pins which i didnt want too. Also the hood doesnt clear the factory strut bar so it sticks up on both sides. Now im not saying all seibon hoods are garbage but mine definetly wasnt A+ material.

like something was up with this one. It is by no means perfect, as many aftermarket components are not however, it shouldn't provide this much grief either...

I just put the vs2 style hood on mine and had the same issues. I just removed the stock latch and strut bar. I ordered a Cusco bar and just used hood pins.
