Default How to install reflectors.

i'm think about getting clears for my 08.

did a quick search but didn't really find any good info, just a bunch of people selling them.

so how is the install? easy or what?

http://www.courtesyparts.com/Merchan...de=99995-Z3306

might get these, it says 2006 to 2007, but the 2008 should be the same, no?

yes, the reflectors from the '07 should fit the '08.

the installation is easy, but time consuming for such a small item.

best way to install them is to remove the front bumper. that's the way i did it. there's a thread on how to remove the front bumper.

i had no choice. my passenger side orange reflector busted because of a rock. the clear or smoked markers make it look a lot better imo. you won't hurt the car if you do everything right. the best thing to do is just wait until you need to clean behind the bumper.

I installed mine about 3 weeks ago. It's and easy bumper to remove, no hidden bolts, very straightforward. The DIY write-up is perfect and the end results are well worth the "effort". BTW I have an '08 as well.

Thanks. It's amazing how such a small change can affect it so much. If/when you do this mod, just be careful with the plastic clips on top of the bumper. They pop out real easily if you understand how the fasten in. You have to put a flathead screwdriver under the head, and twist the handle and gently pull it out.

If it helps any, all I did was take the inner wheel liner off for each side. the left one was easy, the right one I had to reach up past and under the washer bottle to get to it but I wouldn't say it was hard. I did jack the car up for better access to the right one, I didn't wanna mess with taking the bumper off so that worked for me.

It's more work that you would think, but it's really straightforward and very easy to do. There's really no way to screw anything up and it is a nice visual change. Go for it.

This pic was for something else but here's what's involved:

yeah, if you have midget hands or a 7 year old around. otherwise, be prepared for 30 minutes of profanity, especially on the passenger side where the tank is.

It's much easier to take to bumper off, which is kind of hard at first but once you figure it out it take less than 30 min to get it off and on.
