stopping radar rattle with subs

Default stopping radar rattle with subs

anyone find a way to stop the HORRIBLE rattle a radar detector makes when you have subs?

MY radar makes no rattle w/ my subs. Its my stupid rearview mirror that makes all the nasty rattle.

Where is your radar mounted?, maybe try mounting it somewhere else and see if it helps. Or you could open up the detector and maybe put some blue or foam in areas you think are spots that vibrate. Thats what I'm planning on doing w/ my mirror.

yea my mirror is my only rattle in my car...i hate it! let me know about any success stories on fixing that!

my radar is installed under the rear view mirror with one of those mounts sold on this forum. the radar was rattling pretty bad so i wrapped the tab on the mount that slides into the radar detector with some electrical tape and cut out the slits on the tab with a razor.

Actually works pretty good and got rid of the rattle.

dont know if you have one of these mounts but if so, give that a shot.

What the F are you talking about??? I have a no problem with mine it is mounted on the windshield, no problems.

Maybe your DISCo music has more bump than my muZik.
