+1.

I hate eyelids.

It's like putting chromed plastic fake stick on Pep Boys vents and a fake muscle car blower out of the hood on a Daytona blue. You know what car I'm talking about. I would rather blow that money on a tank of gas and drive the car, instead of making it look like a riced out piece of sheet.

A piece of colored tape on the headlights

Ok ricers all ban together now and tell me how wrong I am about this and how they look so cool. I'm waiting....

I bought some a while ago myself. Ive been debating on putting them on myself. At night, it looks awesome. Really changes the way the front looks. Obviously during the day, you can clearly see what they are, and it looks a little cheesy. Hence why they are still in my garage, and not on my car.

I think they blend right in with the hood and give the lights more of that M35 look... we all know (atleast I do) that the M35 headlights are pretty nice.

Eyelids with good body kit and usually a CF hood w/ CF eyelids make the car look very aggressive.

But without a kit and or CF hood it just doesn't look as good at all

It'd be nicer if someone could just mold them into the hood. Otherwise, I dunno...I like them and dislike them at the same time. I love the look they achieve (like the M35/M45 heads - the L-shape Infiniti is known for), but hate the cheapness and simplicity of it.

Before eyelids, IMO car looked sporty/classy but IMO '06+ bumpers look/make the Z look like its smiling/happy...

After eyelids, IMO car looks a tad more aggressive but still wasn't feeling them...

Then when i was about to take them off i slapped on my rims and decided i liked how the car looked now...

Its one of those mods people will love or hate... I debated them for a while and then purchased a set to go on my DB Z with a full Nismo V1 JDM kit and it added a lot to the overall look. I also had my bodyshop fit mine, so they look like they are supposed to be there rather than just stuck on as an after-thought. I'm not a fan of the vinyl eye lids though...

Yeah that's that "tape" that someone was referring to earlier.

Atleast the eyelids I saw looked like actual body pieces and like I said earlier, flow with the stock hood very well.

^^ thats the biggest thing for me, the eyelids have to flow with the hood line.
