Default My mirror fell off today

So I'm driving home tonight and all of a sudden CRACK, my rear-view mirror falls down and starts dangling by the wires. I'm talking about the one inside, normally attached to the windshield. I had my windshield replaced a couple months ago and I'm guessing the guy who replaced it didn't attach the mirror on securely enough. Although I was driving alone, I still managed to say "FAIL" out loud when it happened.

Yes... yes I did. The situation called for it and there was no one around to say it for me.

I checked it out and it seems that it actually took a chunk out of the glass with it. I'm calling the insurance tomorrow to see if they can take care of it. I'm assuming whatever glass company they used provides a warranty on their work.

Wow, no kidding? I mean I had my music on but my sub wasn't bumping THAT hard... I'm hoping insurance/glass company will cover the work - the mirror didn't fall off prior to the glass replacement, and I've had my sub in the car since May.

LOL "Fail" is a slang used by our younger members.

But for us older dudes the word "fail" doesnt mean much if anything...

We would resort to the old traditional "F**K!!" if a similar thing happened.

Same thing happened to my ex gf, cept she had a sonata lol. My last cars rearview mirror just got loose and would move to the point of being useless soon as first bass hit. 850rms in bandpass box was too much lol.

I just called my insurance company - they transferred me to the glass company that did my windshield replacement back in September. They are going to warranty their work and replace my entire windshield today. Pretty good customer service if you ask me...
