pic 3 is the top down switch in mine. Pic 1 I made an aluminum plate to put there, and would like to mount a switch or somethin there.

I have a ZR, there is nothing above the rearview mirror

Next to the TCS button

Where the BOSE Sub would go... I thought there would be a usable cubby?
Attachment 173440
Bose would go there. I believe you can order the normal passenger side cubby stuff to make it a cubby as well, but considering it's behind you, it's going to be difficult to access. Look into getting the ZEN Cubby Box for a sub.

Carefully take the door mechanism apart (there is a spiral spring and cord do-hickey) and attach the new door and latching plate to your old frame where the blank cover is. It is a perfect. Next order the cubby itself with the snap-in tray in the bottom and slip that into the space where the subwoofer would normally be. We fabricated a brace to mimic the welded-in unit on the passenger side to attach the back of the cubby to (two bolts). Put the frame with the TWO doors back on.....and, voila, you have two cubby holes with locks on them.

It was a pain dealing with the Nissan dealership for part numbers (before they started all the cool online stuff at Courtesy) but the install was an easy afternoon's worth of work.
damn..this may have to be my first mod. Is there an online place where I can look up all the parts with diagrams? I checked performancenissan and courtesynissan and I can't find them....
