Default leather to cloth swap? help plz...

Hi,

ive searched....

i wanted to remove the heating pads out of my OEM touring leather seats and transfer them into a set of OEM cloth manual seats. would this be tons of work? will the seat covers on both the leathers and cloths go back on tightly after peeling them back a little to remove heating pads?

1. I do not mind destroying or unstiching my thread on my oem leather seats. I just want to transfer the pad to the cloth seats. can it be done??

2. ALSO, If the cloth seats i buy are NOT powered can i just remove the cloth covers and remove my leather covers and install the cloth on my motorized seats that the car came with so i can keep the powered seats. THEN transfer the heat pads over???

3. also, since the cloth seats are manual, if i pull the cloth off and mount on my original powered seats will the electrical switches be exposed to use or do i got to modify the cloth to accomodate the cloth...see pic...red and yellow circle???

To answer question 3, you will have to modify the cloth seat covers for the switches.

I have seen aftermarket covers for power and non-power seats and the cover is modified to fit the switch panel.
